Office Visio 2007 for Students

Overview

The Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics shapes have been designed to take the tedium out of creating commonly used visual notations such as molecules, mathematical functions, and circuit diagrams. These shapes can be downloaded for use with your existing copy of Microsoft Office Visio 2007. The included shape libraries are:

  • Chemistry: Equations, Molecules, Organic Compounds.
  • Mathematics: 3-D Geometry, Analytical Geometry, Angles, Circles & Ellipses, Common Functions, Exponential, Logarithmic, and Power Functions, Hyperbolas and Parabolas, Plane Geometry, Sets, Sine, Cosine, and Tan.
  • Physics: Circuit Diagrams, Lenses, Mirrors, and Prisms, Light Sources and Waves, Magnetism, Pulleys and Levers, Vehicles.

Instructions for Use:

  1. When you want to create a diagram, click on ‘File’-> 'Shapes’-> 'My Shapes’ to access the shapes.
  2. Drag and drop shapes on the canvas to create your diagram.
  3. You can double click any shape to add annotations.
