When we at P++ considered technologies with which to develop our performance modeling and prediction software, thePerf Tool®, it became evident that leveraging VISIO 2007’s powerful engine would be ideal for our drag & drop interface. Today, thePerfTool® integrates a VISIO 2007 ActiveX control that enables our clients to create architectural models of their complex enterprise applications, without requiring any prior experience with the VISIO product, through a simple and intuitive drag & drop interface. The richness of the VISIO ActiveX control enables our software to enforce all checks and balances needed while building a performance model of a complex enterprise application.
